What Is the Main Alternative to FatJoe?
For buyers who want to choose a guest post publisher and submit their own article, a browsable marketplace is the main alternative to FatJoe. Backlink Management's marketplace works that way: you can review the listing before ordering, choose the publisher and submit an article you've prepared.
For buyers who want the supplier to handle outreach and writing, a marketplace is not a like-for-like replacement. In that case, the real alternatives are other managed outreach services, and you should compare them on the same terms covered below.
What Does FatJoe Actually Offer?
FatJoe sells managed placements in tiers. On its Blogger Outreach page, you provide the anchor text, target URLs and content length, its outreach team finds a blog, and its copywriters write the post. FatJoe says the post is published by the blog owner rather than under a guest author profile.
Its Niche Edits service adds your link to an existing, already-published post instead of a new article. Its Grow packages bundle several outreach and niche edit links into one campaign, with a concierge choosing anchor text and target URLs.
FatJoe's Blogger Outreach FAQ says customers can't pre-approve sites or posts: "you won't be able to pre-approve blog post placements," though you can track progress and see secured placements in its dashboard. The homepage also lists AI SEO, PR, local SEO and content writing services.

How Does Backlink Management Differ From FatJoe?
The core difference is who chooses the publisher and who writes the article. FatJoe handles both. In the Backlink Management marketplace, you choose a listed site and supply the article.
| Buying Question | FatJoe Blogger Outreach | Backlink Management marketplace |
|---|---|---|
| Publisher selection | FatJoe's team selects the blog; its FAQ says placements can't be pre-approved | You browse listings and choose the site |
| Article writing | Included; FatJoe's copywriters write the post | You supply the article |
| How you buy | Choose a DR tier and order placements | Choose an individual listing and order it |
| Publisher details before ordering | A promised DR and traffic band per tier | Website, DR, monthly traffic, site age, publication time and price shown per listing, where available |
| Niche edits | Offered as a separate service | Not sold |
| Link stays live | Advertises a lifetime link guarantee; asks you to report a removed link for replacement | No blanket replacement guarantee is stated |
| Link re-checking | Not stated on the pages reviewed | No automated re-checking |
| After purchase | Order dashboard and white label report | Marketplace orders in your account, plus a separate backlink workspace |
FatJoe's guarantee details are its own published terms. We haven't tested how either service handles a removed link.

Create an Account to CompareHow Do FatJoe's Prices Compare With Marketplace Prices?
FatJoe publishes per-placement prices based on Domain Rating and traffic bands. Its Blogger Outreach and Niche Edits pages list six tiers, from DR10+ to DR60+.
The displayed USD prices differed between the browser view and a separate public-page retrieval on 6 November 2026. For example, the DR30+ tier appeared at $137 in one view and $120 in the other. Check the price displayed in your own ordering session before budgeting or placing an order.
FatJoe also advertises a 10% discount for buyers subscribing to a monthly spend. Its Grow service offers packaged placements with different quantities and service combinations. Check the current package contents and displayed price directly rather than comparing packages solely by the number of links.
Backlink Management uses individual marketplace listings rather than a fixed DR-tier price ladder. Each listing shows its own price, where available, and the catalogue is accessible after signup.
The prices are not directly interchangeable. FatJoe's Blogger Outreach price includes article writing, while Backlink Management requires you to supply the article. Include the cost of producing that content when comparing offers.
We have not placed equivalent orders with both providers, so we cannot establish which is cheaper for a particular publisher or placement.

Which Option Gives You More Control?
A marketplace gives you more control over which publisher you use and what the article says. A managed service gives you less work to do.
- Publisher: in a marketplace you pick the site from the listings. With FatJoe, its team picks it within your tier.
- Article: in a marketplace you write or commission the article. With FatJoe, its writers produce it.
- Editing: a publisher may still edit or reject a submitted article, so a marketplace doesn't guarantee your text goes live unchanged.
- Timing: FatJoe quotes "from 14 days delivery". Marketplace listings can show an expected publication time per listing, where available. Read our guide to guest post turnaround time before comparing the two figures.
- Results: neither model guarantees rankings.
What Should You Check Before Ordering?
Check the same things whichever model you use.
- Is the publisher relevant to your topic and audience?
- Who writes the article, and who owns it?
- Will the link be dofollow, sponsored or nofollow?
- What publication window is quoted, and when does it start?
- What are the refund terms if the order fails?
- What happens if the post or link is removed later?
Our checklist of guest post site red flags covers the warning signs in more detail, and our guide to backlink replacement guarantees explains what a replacement promise does and doesn't cover.
Google's spam policies say buying or selling links for ranking purposes can be treated as link spam, and Google asks that paid links be marked with rel="sponsored" or rel="nofollow". Neither a managed service nor a marketplace makes a paid link compliant on its own.

Who Should Choose FatJoe, and Who Should Choose a Marketplace?
Choose FatJoe, or another managed outreach service, if you want to hand off outreach and writing and you're comfortable not pre-approving sites. That suits agencies that resell links and don't have writers.
Choose a marketplace like Backlink Management if you want to see and pick the publisher, and you can supply your own articles. That suits site owners and agencies that already write content and want each placement chosen deliberately.
Neither fits if you need niche edits bought through Backlink Management, guaranteed rankings or automatic alerts when a link disappears. If niche edits are central to your plan, read our guide to niche edits first.
How Do You Manage Placements After Ordering?
In Backlink Management, marketplace orders sit in the Orders area of your account. Your backlinks live in a separate workspace, where you can record each link and connect Google Search Console to see search data for your site.
The workspace doesn't re-check links automatically, doesn't track live or lost status, doesn't keep audit history and doesn't have a per-placement cost field. The AI SEO Assistant reads your data and answers questions; it doesn't buy or place links.
Backlink Management is backlink management and tracking software for SEO agencies, link builders and site owners, founded by Brandon King and based in Miami, Florida.
