Compare What the Protection Actually Buys
| Buying Question | WhitePress | Collaborator |
|---|---|---|
| What is the baseline? | Paid-article terms normally require 12 months of unchanged publication, subject to the accepted offer and exceptions. This is a publisher obligation, not the same refund mechanism as the optional 36-month warranty. | Standard terms provide three-month deletion protection, with restoration or replacement attempted before an account-balance refund. |
| What is the optional cover? | A paid 36-month warranty, only on eligible offers and only for the publication covered by the purchase. | A paid 12-month guarantee on eligible listings, selected when ordering. |
| Does it cover non-indexing? | The paid-article terms expressly say indexation is not guaranteed. The 36-month warranty concerns publication availability and link conditions. | The extended-guarantee FAQ lists specific non-indexing events and waiting periods. This is not a promise that Google will index the page. |
| Where does an eligible extended-protection refund go? | To the WhitePress account for future orders; it cannot be withdrawn. The warranty fee is excluded. | To the Collaborator account balance. Do not assume this means a fee-free refund to your payment card. |
| What is the initial review clock? | Two working days after the publisher marks the publication complete. | 72 hours after the creator sends the placement for review. |

WhitePress: Read the Warranty, Not Just “36 Months”
WhitePress's paid-article terms normally require 12 months of unchanged publication, but the accepted publisher offer can specify another period. The terms also list exceptions, including closure of the publisher's site. Do not turn that baseline obligation into an unconditional year-long refund guarantee.
The separate 36-month warranty is available only for participating offers. Its price depends on the publication value and is displayed during ordering; we have not verified a universal percentage or an actual checkout quote.
What Triggers a Warranty Complaint?
For covered publication unavailability, WhitePress permits a complaint after more than nine consecutive days. The warranty also specifies conditions for link activity and parameters, with stated exceptions. Shorter interruptions do not qualify under that rule. A complaint must be submitted through the platform while the warranty is active.
The terms allow five working days to process the complaint. If it is upheld, WhitePress says it credits 100% of the covered publication value within two working days, excluding the non-refundable warranty fee. The credit can fund later orders but cannot be withdrawn.
What the Headline Does Not Tell You
- A publisher may change the publication URL using a 301 redirect without breaching the warranty.
- If the publisher receives the specified Google manual action, changing a link from dofollow to nofollow is not a warranty breach.
- Exclusions include removal requested by the advertiser, specified unlawful content, deliberate advertiser actions and some problems with the linked destination. Read the full list for your order.
- WhitePress's paid-article terms explicitly do not guarantee indexation. Publication availability and search-engine inclusion are different things.
These details make the optional warranty more specific than “your backlink is guaranteed for three years.” Compare what you could claim for, not only the expiry date.

Collaborator: Separate Basic Protection From the Paid Guarantee
Collaborator's standard terms cover deletion during the first three months after placement. If you report deletion, Collaborator first seeks restoration or a replacement on similar conditions within two weeks. If that fails, it refunds the client's account balance at its own expense. Later assistance does not carry the same refund obligation.
The optional guarantee costs 10% of the placement fee, including writing services, and lasts 12 months. It is available only on eligible listings and must be selected when ordering, not added afterward. The FAQ describes these events:
- The article has not entered any search engine's index for two months.
- The article drops out of the index and does not return within 25 days.
- The article or a link is deleted and not restored within seven days.
The FAQ also lists changes to anchors or landing pages as insured events. It says the covered placement and applicable publisher-writing cost are reimbursed to the account balance. It describes up to 25 days to resolve an event, then an additional seven days for a refund if unresolved. Country/site exclusions and restrictions for projects that conflict with target-country law apply.
Collaborator's standard terms separately require accessibility for indexing. Where the stated indexing problems arise, they give the publisher 15 calendar days to remove the obstacles and republish, or follow the refund-and-removal process at Collaborator's request. That is a different obligation from the extended guarantee's two-month non-indexing trigger.
A remedy for non-indexing does not force Google to index a page. Keep the promise of compensation separate from the search result you hope to achieve.

CHECK THE WORKFLOW, TOO
Explore BM Before You Commit a Budget
Browse BM's marketplace and available plans, then decide whether its backlink records and search-data workflow fit the way you manage placements. BM does not inherit either competitor's guarantee.
Explore BM With an AccountCompare the Full Cost, Not a Starting Price
First match the publisher, language, article scope, writing responsibility and link conditions. A cheaper listing on a different site is not a like-for-like quote.
For WhitePress, record the publisher's offer, any writing service, the optional warranty price and the final payable total. Its advertiser terms place the publication price beside the offer; the warranty terms say the extra fee is shown during ordering. We did not verify a complete payment-fee schedule or place an order, so we do not describe WhitePress as fee-free.
Collaborator's payment policy lists a 10% deposit commission and a 15% withdrawal commission. They apply to different transactions; they are not a single 25% purchase fee. Payment-provider fees may also apply. When the users' currencies differ, its policy says the quoted price includes an additional 5% for conversion and currency risk.
The optional placement guarantee's 10% charge is separate from the deposit commission. Confirm the final payment total and the usable balance credited before paying. The policy's withdrawal fees and the FAQ's unused-funding refund procedure are also different from a guarantee credit; ask which applies to your case.

Two Working Days and 72 Hours Are Different Clocks
WhitePress's paid-article terms require verification within two working days after the publisher marks publication complete. Failure to act can lead to approval on your behalf and loss of the opportunity to request corrections; later changes may cost extra. The terms also give two business days to accept or comment on a publisher-written article.
Collaborator gives the buyer 72 hours to approve or reject the delivered placement, then treats silence as approval. Its terms permit requests to correct specified defects or support-assisted termination within that window, but termination is not unconditional.
Before either deadline, open the published page and compare it with the brief. Check the destination, anchor, disclosure, link attributes and any agreed indexing conditions. Save the offer, delivery notice and screenshots. Assign a backup reviewer rather than assuming an informal message pauses acceptance.
WhitePress's terms allow publishers to refuse an order and specify a default publication timetable with offer-specific exceptions. Collaborator's terms tie delivery to the accepted offer. Neither a catalogue listing nor a general turnaround claim guarantees that your exact order will be accepted or published on your preferred date.

A Practical Decision Before You Fund an Account
Choose on the order you can actually buy, not a platform-wide superlative:
- Verify that the specific publisher reaches the audience and language you need. We have not compared the two private inventories.
- Record the exact placement, writing, funding and protection charges separately.
- Save the current offer and applicable guarantee terms, including exclusions and refund destination.
- Decide who will inspect delivery within the platform's review window.
- Ask what happens if the article is rejected, delivered incorrectly, removed or not indexed. Those are different events.
- Begin with an order you can inspect carefully before committing a larger campaign budget.
Paid placements should be disclosed appropriately. Google asks publishers to qualify paid links with rel="sponsored"; rel="nofollow" is also acceptable. Buying links to manipulate rankings can violate Google's spam policies. Neither platform's warranty guarantees rankings.

Where Backlink Management Fits
Consider BM as a third option when you want one-time guest post purchases alongside backlink records and connected Search Console data. The BM guest post marketplace explains the process: choose a listing, submit your article, pay for the placement and follow the order in your account.
On an active plan, BM's SEO Assistant can use your website, connected Search Console data and backlink context to suggest a target page and relevant anchor. That helps you prepare the brief; it does not select or order a marketplace placement for you.
