Compare the Buyer Responsibilities
| Buying Question | Adsy | Collaborator |
|---|---|---|
| What does funding buy? | Prepaid Adsy Credits for marketing services; the terms say they are not cash deposits or escrow. | An account balance, with published deposit and withdrawal commissions. |
| How long can you review delivery? | Seven calendar days from delivery notification, then deemed acceptance if you do not respond. | 72 hours after delivery for review, then automatic approval if you do not act. |
| What if delivery does not match the order? | Request corrections within the original order requirements. If Adsy confirms non-delivery or work outside the agreed scope, Section 12 permits Adsy to re-perform the service or issue a refund subject to Section 6. | Request correction of specified defects or ask support about termination within the review window; termination is not unconditional. |
| What happens after publication? | Claims within 30 days for departures from agreed initial specifications; no later liability for specified third-party changes. | Three-month deletion protection, plus optional paid 12-month coverage with separate conditions. |
| Is a remedy necessarily money back to your card? | No. After services start, refunds or credits generally go to the Adsy balance under Section 6.7. | No. The standard deletion remedy ends in an account-balance refund if restoration or replacement fails. |

Compare the Full Funded Cost
A listing price is not a like-for-like quote until you have matched the publisher, article scope, link conditions and final payment total. Do not compare one platform's cheapest listing with a different publisher on the other.
Adsy's current terms specify:
- One Adsy Credit equals US$1, with a minimum prepayment of US$25.
- Credits are prepaid service value, not withdrawable cash. The terms say unused credits remain valid for 180 days and may then incur an inactivity fee.
- Purchased credits are generally non-refundable. A payment made in error may qualify for a discretionary original-payment-method refund within 30 days if no credits were used to order services.
Collaborator's current payment policy specifies:
- A 10% commission when adding funds and 15% when withdrawing funds. These are different transactions, not a single 25% purchase fee.
- Payment-provider charges may also apply. The policy says cross-currency transactions between users include an additional 5% in the quoted price.
- Optional 12-month placement protection costs 10% of the placement fee, including writing services. It is separate from the deposit commission.
Confirm what the final payment screen credits to your account and what each extra covers. We have not verified a matched-order checkout total or an exhaustive Adsy fee schedule, so this comparison does not declare either platform cheaper or fee-free.

Put the Approval Deadline on Someone's Calendar
Adsy's terms give the buyer seven calendar days from delivery notification to provide feedback or request revisions. Adsy's FAQ describes returning a task for improvement up to three times before opening an administration dispute. Corrections remain limited to the original order requirements; Section 5.6 separately prohibits changes to published and paid content.
Collaborator gives the buyer 72 hours to approve or reject the delivered placement. Its terms allow specific corrections or a support-assisted termination request during that window, but support may refuse an unreasonable termination request.
The practical difference is the review time your team can staff, not proof that either platform checks quality better. Assign an owner and backup before ordering; a weekend or an unattended inbox can consume a short approval window.
Before You Approve
- Open the published URL and compare the article with the agreed brief.
- Check the destination URL, anchor, link attributes and sponsorship disclosure against the order.
- Check that the page is accessible and that any agreed indexing conditions are met. Accessibility for indexing is not a promise that Google will index it.
- Save the order terms, published URL, screenshots and delivery notice.
- Use the platform's documented revision or dispute process before the deadline. Do not assume an informal message pauses automatic acceptance.

KEEP THE BUYING DECISION IN CONTEXT
Explore BM's Marketplace and Workspace
Browse available guest post placements alongside BM's backlink records and search-data workflow. Review the listing and plan before deciding what to buy.
Explore BM With an AccountSeparate a Defect Claim From Later Link Protection
A service delivered incorrectly, a buyer changing their mind and a link disappearing later are different events. Ask which event the policy covers, how quickly you must report it and where any refund goes.
Adsy: Read the FAQ Alongside the Current Terms
Adsy's FAQ says completed purchases are final and non-refundable and recommends requesting improvements. Its terms add important qualifications: Section 12 permits re-performance or a refund for confirmed non-delivery or work outside the agreed scope, subject to Section 6.
That is not an unconditional cash refund. Section 6.7 generally limits remedies after services begin to the Adsy balance; the unused mistaken-payment exception in Section 6.5 is separate. Non-excludable legal rights remain unaffected under Section 12.6.
Section 11 permits claims during 30 days after publication if the deliverable no longer matches the initial specifications. It disclaims later liability for removal, modification or inaccessibility caused by third parties. Do not translate correct delivery into a permanent-link promise.
The live terms page shows an update label of 2 October 2026 and states 30 September 2026 within its introduction. We checked the clauses on 19 October; ask Adsy to confirm the applicable version if that date difference matters to your order.
Collaborator: Standard and Extended Protection Are Different
The standard terms cover deletion during three months after placement. Collaborator first seeks restoration or a replacement resource on similar conditions within two weeks; if those attempts fail, the terms provide a refund to the client's account balance. Later assistance does not carry the same refund obligation.
Collaborator's standard terms also require the publisher to make the placement accessible to search engines. If indexing obstacles arise, those terms specify a 15-calendar-day period for the publisher to resolve them or follow the stated refund-and-removal process at Collaborator's request. This obligation is different from the optional guarantee's two-month non-indexation trigger.
The optional extended guarantee lasts 12 months, is available only on eligible listings and must be selected when ordering, not added afterward. Its FAQ describes covered changes to anchors or landing pages as well as the following indexing and deletion triggers:
- The article has not entered any search engine's index for two months.
- The article drops out of the index and does not return within 25 days.
- The article or a link is deleted and is not restored within seven days.
The FAQ says the covered placement and applicable publisher-writing cost are reimbursed to the account balance. It lists country/site exclusions and excludes projects that conflict with target-country law. It also describes up to 25 days to try to resolve an event, followed by an additional seven days for a refund if unresolved.
An account-balance remedy is not the same as a card refund. Collaborator's payment policy covers withdrawal commissions; its FAQ separately directs unused-funding refund requests through support to the original payment method. Confirm which process applies instead of assuming a guarantee payment can be withdrawn without fees.
Use the same questions when comparing backlink replacement guarantees elsewhere: covered event, reporting deadline, remedy sequence and refund destination. If WhitePress is also on your shortlist, our WhitePress vs Collaborator comparison separates its optional 36-month publication warranty from Collaborator's different protection terms.

Before You Fund Either Account
- Identify the exact publisher, topic restrictions and writing responsibility. Confirm whether you submit copy or pay for writing.
- Record the placement price, funding costs, optional protection and any currency charges separately.
- Save the approval deadline and identify the person who will inspect delivery.
- Ask what happens if the publisher rejects the article, delivery differs from the brief or the page later disappears.
- Confirm whether a remedy means correction, replacement, account credit or an original-payment refund.
- Test a manageable order before committing a larger budget. This is a buying precaution, not a claim that either platform will fail.
Paid placements should be disclosed appropriately. Google asks publishers to qualify paid links with rel="sponsored"; rel="nofollow" is also acceptable. Buying links to manipulate rankings can violate Google's spam policies, and no marketplace protection guarantees rankings or indexing.

Where Backlink Management Fits
Consider BM as a third option when you want to buy one-time guest post placements and keep backlink records and connected Search Console data in the same product. The BM guest post marketplace explains the current process: choose a listing, submit your article, pay for the placement and follow the order in your account.
On an active plan, BM's SEO Assistant can use your website, connected Search Console data and backlink context to suggest a target page and relevant anchor. That supports the brief you prepare before buying; it does not choose or order a marketplace placement for you.

BM's marketplace purchases are separate from a subscription. We have not verified equivalent publishers, a universal placement-protection policy, cross-platform migration or a lower matched-order price. Review the current listing and plan rather than assuming BM matches Adsy or Collaborator on those terms.

Sources and Limits
This guide uses the linked first-party terms, FAQs and product pages checked on 19 October 2026. Platform wording, listing conditions and fees can change; confirm the current terms before paying. This is a product comparison, not legal advice.
We did not place test orders, verify refund outcomes, inspect private inventories or measure customer success. An unverified feature is not necessarily absent. No star rating, ranking guarantee or claim of superior placement quality is assigned here.
We also checked Adsy's Trustpilot page, Collaborator's Trustpilot page and an r/seogrowth discussion about buying client backlinks. These are individual, potentially mixed-role accounts, not controlled buyer tests. We did not use them to estimate failure rates or determine which platform produces better SEO results.
