MARKETPLACE COMPARISON

Collaborator vs Linkhouse: Fees, Approval & Link Protection

Collaborator and Linkhouse both sell access to publisher placements. Their funding rules, approval clocks and remedies differ, so compare the order you can buy—not just the size of the catalogue.

Backlink Management sells its own software and placements and has a commercial interest in this comparison. We reviewed public documents, not test orders. We did not test delivery, support, refund claims or ranking results.

Funding, approval and protection checkpoints for comparing Collaborator and Linkhouse.
A buyer checklist, not a platform rating or a promise of results.

The Short Answer

  • Consider Collaborator when its available publishers fit your brief and you value its documented three-month deletion remedy or optional 12-month guarantee. Budget for funding fees and check the guarantee's conditions before ordering.
  • Consider Linkhouse when its available offers and content options fit your campaign and you accept its balance restrictions and offer-specific retention terms. Three business days to review delivery is not the same as Collaborator's 72 hours.
  • Neither is a verified cheapest or safest winner. Match the publisher, writing scope, final charge, review deadline and remedy before choosing.

Buying a placement and keeping its details organised are different jobs. Our backlink management workspace brings placement records and connected Search Console data together; this comparison focuses on choosing between Collaborator and Linkhouse before paying.

Collaborator vs Linkhouse at a Glance

The clearest differences are how you fund an order, when you must review it and who owes a remedy if a placement disappears. A publisher's retention obligation is not the same as a platform-funded refund.

Compare the Complete Cost Before Funding

No matched-publisher checkout test was performed, so we cannot say which platform is cheaper for the same placement. Compare the final payable amount and the usable balance credited, not a headline starting price.

Collaborator's policy lists 10% when adding money and 15% when withdrawing it. These apply to different transactions; they are not a single 25% purchase fee. Payment-provider fees can also apply. When the counterparties' account currencies differ, the quoted price includes an additional 5% for conversion and currency risk—not a universal surcharge on every order.

Collaborator's optional guarantee costs another 10% of the placement price, including publisher-side writing. Its account currency is selected at registration and cannot be changed. Keep funding, writing, currency and protection charges separate in your comparison.

Linkhouse's FAQ says the margin is charged to the advertiser. Its terms allow the provider's remuneration to vary; we did not verify one universal commission rate. Offers show net prices with VAT information, while the order summary shows the total including taxes. Check the actual order total before paying.

Linkhouse's advertiser terms say accumulated balance cannot be withdrawn or transferred to another account. Collaborator permits withdrawal requests under its payment rules, but a guarantee credit is not an automatic fee-free card refund. Ask which process applies before depositing more than your planned order needs.

Separate Writing Approval From Placement Approval

Collaborator gives buyers 72 hours to review a delivered placement; Linkhouse gives three business days after the published URL is reported. These clocks can expire on different dates, so assign a reviewer before placing an order.

Both document buyer-supplied articles and paid writing options. Collaborator also has a separate copywriter route for English-language placements: Standard includes one revision, Pro two, and writing is automatically approved after 72 hours without a response. Approved writing remains payable even if the publisher later rejects the article or the placement ends. Publisher acceptance is not guaranteed.

Linkhouse documents own-content, human-copywriter and Surfer AI options. Its terms distinguish the publication contract from writing: when a publication is rejected or cancelled under the stated process, the publication price can return to account balance without cancelling the writing contract. Do not assume a placement refund erases an already-incurred writing charge.

For Linkhouse delivery corrections, the follow-up review period is two business days. After the deadlines, the publisher need not apply further corrections. Collaborator's review-stage cancellation is support-assisted and can be refused when considered unreasonable; it is not an unrestricted change-of-mind window.

Before paying, confirm the publication deadline for the specific offer and what happens if it is missed; the delivery deadline is separate from your review window.

Before accepting delivery, compare the article, destination URL, anchor, disclosure and link attributes with your saved brief. Keep the offer and delivery notice, and use the documented correction process rather than assuming an informal message pauses automatic approval.

Read Retention and Refund Protection Separately

Neither platform's published terms support an unconditional permanent-link promise. Separate the publisher's obligation, the covered event, the time limit and the destination of any reimbursement.

Collaborator: Three Months and Optional Extended Protection

Collaborator's terms say that if an ad is deleted within three months, the buyer should notify the platform. Collaborator seeks restoration or a comparable placement within two weeks; if that fails, it refunds the cost of the affected placement to the buyer's account balance at its own expense. For later deletion, it will negotiate but is not obliged to refund under that clause.

That platform remedy is narrower than the publisher's stated obligation to retain the article for the website's lifespan. Neither statement makes a website incapable of closing or a link impossible to remove.

The optional 12-month guarantee costs 10% of the placement including publisher-side writing. It applies only to eligible orders and the listed triggers and resolution procedures, not to every placement. Separate copywriter services are a different purchase from publisher-side writing. The guarantee must be selected when ordering, not added afterward. The FAQ lists failure to enter any search engine's index for two months, loss of indexation for 25 days, and deletion not restored within seven days among its triggers. It also covers specified anchor or landing-page changes.

The FAQ describes up to 25 days to resolve a covered event and a further seven days to refund if unresolved. Reimbursement goes to account balance. Country/site restrictions and exclusions for projects conflicting with target-country law apply; read the conditions attached to the specific order.

Collaborator's standard terms separately give publishers 15 calendar days to resolve indexing obstacles and republish, or follow the refund-and-removal process at the platform's request. That is not the optional guarantee's two-month trigger, and neither can force a search engine to index a page.

Linkhouse: Offer Terms, Exceptions and Recovery Limits

Linkhouse's publisher rules describe a retention period of at least 12 months, or indefinite publication for as long as the publisher owns the domain, no less than 12 months. A 12-month offer may be removed afterward; “indefinite” is not an unconditional lifetime promise.

Advertiser Article 5.13 lists circumstances that can shorten publication without a refund or compensation. These include website closure, illegal or suspected-illegal material, suspected rights infringement, buyer-requested removal, buyer misconduct or rule breaches, force majeure, transfer of the domain to an unrelated party and a fundamental change in the website's subject. Read these alongside the offer's duration, not after a problem arises.

Article 6.5 adds a recovery limit: if Linkhouse cannot recover refundable publisher remuneration within ten business days, that portion is not credited to the advertiser's balance, and the advertiser's claim is against the publisher, limited to the publisher remuneration. Linkhouse must enable that claim. This is not the same as a general platform-funded replacement-or-refund promise.

The advertiser terms expressly disclaim guaranteed effective indexation. They also preserve consumer protections to the extent required by applicable law. This is a summary of published terms, not legal advice or a prediction of how an individual dispute will be resolved.

Which Fits Your Market and Team?

Start with the specific publishers that reach your audience, then check whether your team can manage the approval window and financial terms. We have not audited either private catalogue or verified which has more suitable sites for your niche.

  • For an agency, record the client brief, who approves writing, who checks delivery and who owns a refund claim. Neither a large catalogue nor a platform name replaces those responsibilities.
  • For a local or international campaign, confirm language, country, topic restrictions and the actual publisher before comparing prices. Marketing catalogue totals are not counts of relevant, available sites for your brief.
  • For an individual buyer, confirm eligibility before funding. Linkhouse's FAQ says individual advertisers require EU citizenship; it describes companies as eligible regardless of country. Confirm how that published rule applies to you.
  • For protection-sensitive buyers, compare the exact Collaborator guarantee available on the listing with Linkhouse's offer duration, exclusions and recovery rules. Do not turn either into a ranking warranty.

If WhitePress is also on your shortlist, our WhitePress vs Collaborator comparison covers that separate choice. Different platforms' protection periods and remedies are not interchangeable.

What Reviews Can—and Cannot—Tell You

Public reviews can suggest questions to ask, but the pages we read mix buyer and publisher experiences. They do not establish a buyer-only success rate, a matched delivery comparison or a universal quality winner.

We read the exact-brand Collaborator Trustpilot page and Linkhouse Trustpilot page, including customer accounts and company replies. We did not independently verify those transactions and assign neither platform a star rating here. Use the applicable order terms, not an isolated testimonial, to assess your financial exposure.

Where Backlink Management Fits

Backlink Management is backlink management and tracking software for SEO agencies, link builders and site owners, founded by Brandon King and based in Miami, Florida.

BM is a third option if you want managed placements recorded with source, target, anchor, DR, traffic and delivery date, alongside connected Search Console data. Its guest post marketplace is a separate route for one-time placement purchases. Review the listing and applicable terms; BM does not inherit Collaborator's or Linkhouse's protection promises.

The SEO Assistant reads website and connected workspace data to recommend SEO actions. It does not independently crawl competitor backlink indexes, automatically verify whether previously delivered links remain live, or execute those recommendations. It has 105 built-in skills and a 25-question daily limit for active or trialing plans. It does not order links, publish changes or submit disavows, and BM does not automatically re-check links for removal.

We have not verified lower matched-order prices, equivalent publisher inventory or stronger guarantees for BM. The previews below are illustrative, not customer results or live catalogue offers.

Sources and Buying Limits

This comparison uses public documents read October 28, 2026. Collaborator's terms display October 7, 2026 as their modification date; Linkhouse's cited advertiser and publisher rules take effect February 20, 2026. Check the terms accepted for your order because fees, offers and conditions can change.

We did not place orders, inspect private inventories or authenticated checkout totals, test refund claims, or measure SEO outcomes. We have not established a cheapest platform, a superior publisher network or a review-based winner.

Paid placements should be disclosed appropriately. Google asks publishers to qualify paid links with rel="sponsored"; rel="nofollow" is also acceptable. Buying links to manipulate rankings can violate Google's spam policies. Publication protection does not guarantee rankings or indexing.
